KGO-TV, the ABC Owned and Operated station in San Francisco is looking for an Associate Producer for their Promotion Department. Work in a creative and fast-paced environment by assisting Senior Producers and Promotion Manager. Responsibilities include writing and editing daily topicals for “The View from the Bay†— a daily entertainment show produced at KGO-TV. Responsibilities also include editing syndicated topicals, network line-up spots and sponsored billboards. Write, produce and edit station sponsored event spots. Assist in the production of anchor image campaigns, including script supervision and off-line editing. Qualified individuals will have good conversational writing skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure. This position also requires the ability to edit video on a non-linear editing system (AVID and Affinity). A four-year college degree is also required, preferably in communication.
