The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are coming to Netflix.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle open up to the public in their upcoming documentary series, Harry & Meghan. Directed by Liz Garbus, the docu-series will explore the days of their early courtship and the challenges that led them to step back back from their roles in the Royal Family.

Harry & Meghan will include commentary from friends and family, most of whom never spoke publicly about what they witnessed, and historians will weigh in to discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press.

Meghan and Harry signed an exclusive multi-year deal with Netflix in 2020 with their production company, Archewell Productions to create documentaries, feature films and children’s programming. Upcoming projects include Hearts of Invictus, a docu-series that follows the stories of resilience of competitors on their journey to Invictus Games The Hague 2020. An animated series, Pearl, was cancelled by Netflix this past May.

In an interview with Variety, Meghan shared her experience in putting her story out into the world. “It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I’ve long admired — even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it. But that’s not why we’re telling it. We’re trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens.”

A release date for Harry & Meghan has not been released yet.
