It may be cold in most parts of the country, but things are heating up in Miami.
The hit Peacock series Real Housewives of Miami is back for Season 5, and castmates Alexia, Adriana, Marysol, Kiki, Larsa, Nicole, Julia, Guerdy and Lisa aren’t holding back.
“We opened up, even more, our lives,” Julia Lemigova told Adweek. Lemigova made history as the first open LGBTQ+ housewife, debuting on Season 4 of the show. She quickly became a fan favorite as viewers learned more about her family and marriage to tennis star Martina Navratilova.
In Season 5, fans will get everything from the highs of Larsa Pippen’s new beginnings party to the lows of Lisa Hochstein’s marriage difficulties. But no matter what’s going on in each of their lives, the ladies know how to rally behind each other during their most challenging moments.
“At the end of the day, we love hard, we fight hard, we celebrate harder, so you do see a great spectrum of us really enjoying each other’s company,” Guerdy Abraira said.
When discussing the production and filming process of the show, Kathleen French, svp of current production, stated how there is no difference between filming housewife franchises on Bravo compared to Peacock. And for episode rollout, Real Housewives of Miami fans are in for a treat this season.
“I think the difference is that whenever the Bravo show airs, we’d have one show on at a time. When we premiere on Dec. 8, we’ll be dropping four shows on premiere day,” French said.
That means fans won’t have to wait in anticipation for weeks to binge on the new season, which is now streaming on Peacock, with new episodes releasing on Thursdays.
