Trevor Noah, a relative unknown from South Africa, will be replacing Jon Stewart as the new host of The Daily Show in the fall. Noah has been a ‘correspondent’ on The Daily Show a couple of times, and has a pretty successful career as a stand-up comedian. Some tweets from his past were recently dug up that were pretty controversial, but I doubt anything serious will come of it. Comedians tend to push boundaries, he just might need to be a little more careful about what he says or tweets from now on.
In more Comedy Central news, the Justin Bieber Roast aired earlier this week and it was brutal. Not only for Justin, but for everyone who was there. Martha Stewart was the biggest shocker of the evening, spreading some jail knowledge, being more vulgar than you’d expect, and letting everyone in attendance feel her wrath.
In late night news, Rihanna pranked Jimmy Kimmel at his home in the wee hours of the morning for April Fools. She essentially turned his bedroom into a music video for her newest song, giving Jimmy a taste of his own medicine. James Corden stayed strong this week with a revealing ad for a new underwear line with David Beckham. Unfortunately, they won’t be available in stores, but Corden has made it clear that a modeling career might be in his future.

In this remake of Bambi, the animals fight back, and I would honestly love it if it were made into a film. Maybe not a full feature, but give me a 10 minute short or something. Hilarious.
