MySpace to roll out big revamp

By Don Day

Fox Interactive’s MySpace hopes to bring in new users with a big rework. Search is being improved, a new navigation bar will launch, the profile editor will be improved, and cutting down on the number of ads. The goal is to “shatter” the perception that the site is just for teens and young adults. “We felt like we reached a point where MySpace in its original incarnation had peaked in a way,” MySpace founder Tom Anderson told the AP. The new features hit the web Wednesday.
