Morning News Producer, KGW-TV

KGW, a Belo Corp subsidiary, and Portland, Oregon’s top-rated station
is looking for a Senior Producer for our 2 hour morning newscast.
Candidate should be someone who is aggressive with breaking news,
creative and cool under pressure. You’ll lead a team of professionals
dedicated to staying #1 in a very competitive time-slot. This is a
great opportunity for someone looking to break into management.
Responsibilities include writing stories and determining news
content. Candidate should possess strong writing skills and be well
informed on current events. The successful candidate will be a
self-starter, possess strong news judgment, good people skills and
the ability to thrive as a member of a team.

Position requires a College degree, excellent writing skills, and
strong organizational and computer skills. Knowledge of television
production is also required. Strong computer skills are required.
Ability to work in a high energy, fast-paced, creative environment
and previous news experience.
