More announcements coming out of Disney in Orlando where #MashCon is currently underway. Curation of the social web is something that TV producers are now faced with at an extremely fast pace. As millions of social web pieces of content pour into social TV producers filters what do they do with it next? On linear, it’s about picking that right snipped to put on air. On digital there are endless opportunities to tell more stories. Storify recently added GetGlue to their mix and at Mashable Connect Cofounder Burt Herman introduced the platform’s newest version that turns every element of the story into a “likeable, shareable and commentable” piece of content.

One of the most interesting pieces about this is how tweets from Storify will now look on Facebook. “When you share a tweet to Facebook, it creates this image, that is a quote in Facebook,” Herman told Lost Remote before he made the announcement. They’ve also added, “minor design changes too, because they, “want to make things look cleaner.” He added that, “this works everywhere that the stories are embedded, for us that’s kind of the huge thing too.” Now how can social TV producers leverage this?

The obvious is to not just curate fans tweets from scripted shows, or important elements from news-related programs but to have permalinks to send to each of this individuals to show them how it relates back to the bigger story. Every social TV producer, marketer, content manager should be making a Storify of the best fan tweets, photos, videos and more. Now that you can chop on the story the social web has a brand new bibliography tool.
