Broadcasting & Cable’s Mike Malone has word of layoffs at KNSD, WNBC and KSTP. “I’m not going to write up every batch of station layoffs in the next year,” he writes. “It’d be too depressing, and it would just be too damn time consuming, too.” Sad, but true, because next year is looking much worse: ZenithOptimedia is forecasting an overall advertising decline next year of 6.2% compared to a decline of 3.8% this year.
