Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building second season will premiere less than a year after the series first introduced viewers to the delightfully charming and hilarious escapades of murder-solving trio Charles, Oliver and Mabel at the famed Arconia.

The streamer confirmed Season 2 will premiere on Tuesday, June 28 (or 6/28), a day after the show’s Twitter account shared a cryptic photo of the elevator inside the Arconia with the buttons 2, 6 and 8 lit up.

Fans took to sharing their guesses on what the numbers could mean, with most believing it was a clue for the Season 2 premiere date.

Season 1 premiered on Aug. 31 and followed Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) as they attempt to solve the grisly murder of fellow Arconia resident named Tim Kono and document their progress with their own true crime podcast.

But following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger in the Season 1 finale, Season 2 will see Charles, Oliver and Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, per the season synopsis: “Three (unfortunate) complications ensue – the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder.”

Series regulars Martin, Short and Gomez will be joined by Cara Delvingne, Shirley MacLaine, Amy Schumer, Zoe Colletti, Andrea Martin and Michael Rapaport.

Only Murders in the Building hails from co-creators and writers Martin and John Hoffman. Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal.
