2013 social TV phenomenon “House of Cards” returns on Netflix on February, 14, and the new trailer foreshadows a dramatic fallout from season one.
The trailer depicts newly-minted Vice President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) continuing to weave in and out of political deceit and treachery, while supporting character Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) is hell-bent on breaking the story of Underwood’s illegal political wheeling and dealing.
In 2013, the show proved that online binge-watching is becoming a serious competitor to traditional television, becoming the first ever web-only series to win a Primetime Emmy. It is sure to be a major social TV story in 2014 with its second season premier early in the year.
