Here’s What’s Coming to MGM+ in 2023

MGM+ unveiled its programming lineup and development slate at the Television Critics Association’s 2023 Winter Press Tour, held in Pasadena, Calif.

On Jan. 15, in conjunction with the premiere of the drama series Godfather of Harlem’s third season, the newly rebranded premium linear channel and streaming service will launch.

“It’s a new beginning for our service, as we introduce MGM+ and its distinctive brand promise to viewers on January 15. MGM+ will deliver on its iconic and beloved studio legacy, with cinematic, sophisticated and transportive storytelling that audiences love,” said Michael Wright, head of MGM+, in a statement. “We are growing our rich library of content, comprised of original television series and blockbuster films that celebrate the MGM brand.”

Wright also revealed the March 12 release date for the six-episode limited series A Spy Among Friends, the April 23 debut date for the second season of the modern sci-fi horror thriller FROM and the February 5 debut date for the true-crime docuseries Murf the Surf.

MGM+ has also renewed Rogue Heroes and Billy the Kid for a second season, and several more titles are in development, including five scripted projects and four docuseries.
