The new Disney+ series Family Reboot will premiere on June 15. The six-part series follows real families taking a unique journey to reconnect and spend uninterrupted time together as they work with a guide to renew their relationships.
In each episode, one family takes a full week away from their busy schedules, leaving their phones, laptops and other devices behind as they head to accommodations with just a paper map in hand. When they arrive, they meet a “Family Reboot” guide, who consults with the parents on how they can benefit from time with their family. Then, the next several days include fun and games balanced with meaningful conversations that the families haven’t had time to have.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are on board as executive producers through their production company, Milojo Productions, in partnership with executive producers Julian P. Hobbs and Elli Hakami for Talos Films.
“We all know people whose families have got so caught up in their own individual lives and schedules that they’ve grown apart and are missing the love, friendship, fun and support family members can provide to each other,” Hobbs and Hakami shared in a statement. “Family Reboot will provide audiences with valuable ideas and experiences they can use in their own lives and reinvigorate their own family relationships.”
