Bravo’s Taking Over NY Mag and Letting Fans Create Video Reviews for Odd Mom Out Premiere

By Karen Fratti

Fans love talking about their favorite shows and Bravo is giving audiences a chance to really make their opinions known. Starting Thursday, the network created a way for fans to become TV critics. This could be a very good or very bad idea (of course, they’ll have only nice things to say). After watching the Odd Mom Out Season 2 trailer, fans can make their own videos reviewing what they think of the next season and then share it across social networks, with a little help from the network.

Maria Laino DeLuca, senior vice president for consumer marketing for Bravo, said in a statement that, “We are excited to partner with Thinkingbox for season two of Odd Mom Out in creating a unique and fun platform that empowers our viewers to share their sentiment across social channels.”

She added that, “working with Maxus on the collaboration with New York Magazine was also a perfect fit as their readers share similar interests with the Bravo audience.” The network is set on “providing a playful experience that will spark laughs from new and existing fans and encourage them to watch the show,” she said.

New York Mag 1

The New York Magazine tie-in will happen on June 20, when the next season premieres. Odd Mom Out’s main character, Jill Weber, will takeover the magazine’s site via an overlay video and edit headlines with her own Odd Mom Out perspective.

The New York takeover is a great way to drive tune in, but I want to see these fan “praise” videos more than anything else.
