Evil Returns June 12 on Paramount+

The battle against Evil resumes this June.

Paramount+ has announced the supernatural drama from Robert and Michelle King returns on Sunday, June 12, with the streamer rolling out new episodes weekly.

And based on the 30-second teaser, which sees Kristen (Katja Herbers) and David (Mike Colter) in some very compromising and unpriestly positions, Leland (Michael Emerson) and Sheryl (Christine Lahti) in what may or may not be couple’s counseling and plenty of ominous jump cuts, we can’t wait to see what’s in store next.

Evil Season 3 begins moments after the end of Season 2’s cliffhanger: when a newly ordained David and Kristen kiss. In the third season, the two not only have to navigate this fraught new reality, but contend with David’s involvement with “the entity,” an espionage unit within the Catholic church. Meanwhile, Ben (Aasif Mandvi) finds his brain breaking from their unsolved cases and turns to his sister for help.

Evil premiered in 2019 and its first season aired on CBS. The series was moved to Paramount+ ahead of its second season, which sister site Adweek named one of 2021’s 10 best TV shows.

The series also stars Kurt Fuller, Andrea Martin, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco and Dalya Knapp.
