Election resources, tools and whiz-bangs

By Cory Bergman

We’re building a list of links to cool online election creations, including widgets, tools and other interactive goodness…

– Msnbc.com’s election results widget, which can even drill down to state and county level. (Full disclosure: I work at msnbc.com).
– CNN.com’s Your Races tool allows you to customize your own results.
– YouTube along with PBS wants you to Video Your Vote and share your election day experience. The clips are then plotted on a map.
– Twitter is filtering all the election updates right here, and TwitterVoteReport mashes it all on an map with a companion iPhone app.
– The New York Times is offering a text service for mobile updates. Send it your zip code and it will provide congressional results from your area.
– Find your polling place in a snap with Google Map’s voter info tool.
– Current TV will air an election night party “co-hosted by Digg and Twitter.”
– The Washington Post has teamed with SocialMedian to allow users to bookmark, submit and discuss election stories from around the web.

If you have one to add, post it in comments below…
