Academy Award-winning director Fisher Stevens (Palmer, We Go Green) will serve as director and executive producer. John Battsek (One Day in September, Searching for Sugar Man) is also on board to executive produce.

Beckham is the first English football player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, France and the U.S. His career began with Manchester United, where he made his debut at the age of 17. He won 6 Premier League titles and joined the LA Galaxy in 2007.

Beckham retired in 2013 after a 20-year career, winning 19 major trophies. He is currently the president and co-owner of Inter Miami CF and the co-owner of Salford City.
