Apple TV+ has renewed British comedy series Trying for a fourth season ahead of its third season finale.
The show centers on Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall), a couple who sincerely desire to have children but have difficulty conceiving. They decide to adopt to have the child they want, but this decision comes with additional difficulties.
Season 3 finds the pair waking up as new parents to two children they are still getting to know.
Now all they have to do is hold onto them, which is trickier than anticipated. Nikki and Jason are thrown into parenthood headfirst. As they struggle to negotiate the ups and downs of parenting while clinging to their children and their sanity, their relationships with each other and their loved ones are tested.
In addition to Smith and Spall, the cast includes Oliver Chris, Sian Brooke, Darren Boyd and Robyn Cara.
