Bravo Launches on Dubsmash to Promote Real Housewives Awards

By Karen Fratti

Bravo has opened voting for its Real Housewives Awards. Fans can vote on categories like:

  • Rookie of the Year
  • Best Supporting Agitator
  • OMG Moment
  • Most-LOL Worthy
  • Best Quote
  • Biggest Reunion Shocker
  • Realest Reconciliation
  • Best Housewife Comeback
  • Most Stunning Interview Look
  • Miss Congeniality
  • Lifetime Achievement Award

I don’t know how anyone can decide on the Best Supporting Agitator. Isn’t that all of them? There won’t be a full-on red carpet event, but there will be a special Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on September 14, where he’ll announce the winners along with Ramona Singer and Tamra Judge. Lisa Hsia, executive vice president of digital for Bravo and Oxygen media, says that:

The Real Housewives Awards were an incredible hit among our fan base with nearly two million votes cast across all of Bravo’s digital and social platforms last year. We are excited to bring the Awards back again and engage our fans on an even deeper level with more content they love and crave.

Bravo’s website and mobile apps will serve as a digital hub for fans, complete with videos (how else to prep to cast your vote?), games, trivia and listicles with all the best GIFs or tours of the housewives’ homes. The network is launching on Dubsmash, so viewers can create their own housewife dubsmashes and share them with other fans. Viewers are already getting into it:
