Job Description:
REPORTS TO: Show Producer & Executive Producer
SUPERVISES: Production Assistant as directed
PURPOSE: Assist Show Producer, coordinate the content and production
of a LIVE, daily show.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee coordination of various production tasks, including but not
limited to:
*Chyron, graphics, research and segment production.
*Field producing, lighting and shooting with DV cameras, writing and
producing packages.
*Liaison with various personnel and internal departments, under the
supervision of the Show Producer, including On-Air Design,
Operations, Talent, Wardrobe, Editors, Chyron Operators, etc. *Assist
with developing rundown for all shows and segments.
*Work hand-in-hand with Show Producer, overseeing and coordinating
the content and production of show.
*Work closely with Segment Producer during pre-production.
*Help bring in B-roll and other materials from the outside in order
to enhance show.
*Assemble permanent show files including final edit report, music cue
sheet, etc.
*Additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have previous AP credits. Ability to
multi-task is a must. Development experience is a big plus.
Candidate must be creative, organized, responsible, self-motivated,
team-oriented but able to demonstrate leadership skills, able to work
under extreme deadline pressure, flexible and accurate.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
