As We See It Canceled at Prime Video After One Season

By Jessica Lerner

Though many shows are coming to Prime Video in November, Jason Katims’ dramedy As We See It won’t be one of them. The series has been canceled after one season.

The Prime Video series followed three twentysomething roommates on the autism spectrum, Jack, Harrison and Violet, as they struggled to find and hold jobs, establish friends, find love and get by in a world that eludes them. These roommates navigated their individual paths to independence and acceptance with the support of their families, an aid and occasionally even one another.

The cast included Rick Glassman, Albert Rutecki, Sue Ann Pien, Sosie Bacon, Chris Pang, Joe Mantegna, Vella Lovell, Tal Anderson and Alyssa Jirrels. Glassman, Rutecki and Pien all identify as living on the autism spectrum.

The show was based on the Israeli series On the Spectrum.

Katims served as creator, executive producer and showrunner. Executive producers included Jeni Mulein, Danna Stern, Yuval Shafferman, Dana Idisis and Udi Segal. Idisis and Shafferman also created On the Spectrum.
