You don’t have to be an Apple TV+ subscriber to watch the first 20 minutes of its new spy thriller, Slow Horses.
Apple TV+ has posted a sneak peek of the Gary Oldman series. Slow Horses’ first two episodes debuted on Apple TV+ today, and one new episode will be released weekly until April 29.
Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Jack Lowden and Olivia Cooke are among the cast members.
Slow Horses is a darkly comedic espionage series about a dysfunctional team of British intelligence officers who work in MI5’s dumping ground section known as Slough House. Oldman plays ‘Jackson Lamb,’ the clever but irascible commander of the spies who lands up at Slough House as a result of their career-ending blunders.
The show will consist of two sets of six episodes, with conflicting reports as to whether this means two six-episode seasons, or one season in two parts. According to reports, the first six episodes are based on Mick Herron’s first novel, Slow Horses, while the next six episodes are based on the sequel, Dead Lions.
