The award categories for the 6th annual Shorty Awards just launched, and social TV is being recognized in a big way.
Social TV makes up three categories, including best social integration for a TV commercial, best social integration for a live TV show, and social TV’s best show (nominees so far are the WWE and Syfy’s Haven).
This year, the nominees in each category expands from six to seven. This will include four with the most nominations from fans, and three chosen by a new Shorty Awards Nominating Board featuring journalists from around the world.
