Amazon’s X-Ray is Helping Fire TV Owners Answer, ‘What’s That Actor Been in Again?’

By Adam Flomenbaum

Along with Tweeting, Facebooking, and texting, looking up an actor to see what they have been in before is one of the most frequent second screen activities (source: personal experience).

Now, Amazon has developed a first-screen solution for the ‘What’s that guy been in again?’ question.

Amazon’s X-Ray is now available (via a free, over-the-air update) directly on TVs via the Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Fire TV Stick and is exclusive to Amazon Instant Video; the service is powered by the Amazon-owned IMDB.

Click “up” on your Fire TV or Fire TV Stick remote and find out that he was in Lost, White Collar, The Good Wife and Sons of Anarchy.
