James Marsden to Return for Westworld Season 4

When Westworld premieres in late June, a familiar face will grace our screens.

HBO announced at Austin’s ATX Television Festival that original cast member James Marsden will reprise his role as Teddy Flood for the upcoming fourth season. The actor made a surprise appearance at the show’s panel at the festival to promote the upcoming season.

Marsden appeared in the first two seasons of the show and was last seen in the Season 2 finale, where he shot himself in the head before Dolores extracted his brain bulb. He was thought to be “dead,” but are any of the hosts ever truly dead on Westworld?

Season 4, which returns Sunday, June 26, is described as a “dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on earth.”

A teaser for the fourth season transported viewers to a gloomy New York where we get glimpses of some familiar faces: Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Ed Harris, Thandiwe Newton and more.

The returning cast also includes Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul and Angela Sarafyan. In addition, Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose joins the cast as a recurring guest star this season.
