Another week, another roundup of the ads that compelled people across the web. Our friends at iSpot TV have rounded this week’s up for us as always. Here’s what they found:
Although Tylenol’s “How We Family” spot featuring same-sex and interracial couples took the prize for the most engaging ad, Apple’s iPhone was the story of the week with four separate ads all placing in the top 10.
All four ads were variations on the smartphone maker’s “Shot on iPhone” theme, with installments from users Bryan L. (fourth), Herbert S. (seventh), Trond K. (eight), and Andy H. (tenth). Collectively, these ads generated 2.8 million online views and nearly 17,000 social actions.
AdvertisementThe Tylenol spot, meanwhile, racked up over 97,000 online views, but over 25,000 social actions. Also worth noting that the second most-engaging ad of the week was from Samsung, supporting its iPhone competitor Galaxy S6 with the “6v6 Wireless Charging, Wide Angle” spot. That single ad outpaced the Apple ads with 3.3 million online views and 1,438 social actions.
