After a successful inaugural year in which nearly 50,000 votes were cast, ESPN has announced that the Fan Hall of Fame, which celebrates extraordinary sports fandom, will return for a second year.  The Fan Hall of Fame will honor three US and Canadian sports fans and will feature an integrated campaign across ESPN’s platforms.

The winners will have their names engraved on three stadium chairs on the lawn of ESPN’s Bristol, Connecticut campus.

Through November 18, fans can enter the competition by submitting an application on FanHallofFame.com – with accompanying images encouraged – explaining why they deserve to win.  A panel of judges from ESPN, including Neil Everett, Mike Greenberg, and Jackie MacMullan, will select ten finalists. Last year’s winners will also be among the judges. ESPN will produce videos of each of the ten finalists sharing their stories, which will live on FanHallofGame.com, and will be the basis by which ESPN.com readers will cast their votes. Fans can follow the competition on social media using the hashtag #FanHallofFame.
