Technical Project Manager

The FeedRoom is looking for an extraordinary Technical Project
Manager to assist with client-facing and internal project releases
and operations. This position requires a solid background in online
technologies, adaptive project methods and resource management.
TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for delivering a
completed project on time, on specification and on budget. The PM
will manage the project lifecycle from kick-off to deployment,
working with both Sales and Technology to specify product design and
details while managing Client expectations.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing both template
and custom media-centric application deployments. This candidate will
also have experience working with high profile, demanding clients and
managing these relationships appropriately. Candidates working within
the streaming media space are preferred.
General responsibilities
• Manages the project lifecycle from inception to completion
• Serves as a client-facing role supporting the business objectives
and delivery
• Pro-actively identifies project issues/problems, assists in
issue/problem resolution and provides project updates and
adjustments
• Escalates and outlines business opportunities, when appropriate,
to the Account Management team
Documentation and deliverables
• Gathers and details functional and technical requirements from
client and/or Account Management
• Writes specification documents, develops project plans and
Statement of Work documents
• Monitors, documents and communicates project progress with
internal and external stakeholders
• Tracks ongoing costs throughout project lifecycle, and reconciles
estimates to actuals for all projects
Required experience:
• 1-3 years of prior Project Management experience
• Experience in formal project methodology and documentation
• Polished organization / communication skills
• Experience and enthusiasm regarding streaming media
