Twi-hards, Twi-lighters, and Twi-Moms beware! Apparently, the vampire trend isn’t just a source of fantasy, but also one of hilarity. On August 18, the Twilight spoof Vampires Suck will arrive in theaters. The trailer has already scored five million views on YouTube.
The production plays with character names. Bella Swan is now “Becca Crane”, IMDB.com reports that Edward has no last name, and the Cullen Family has become “The Sullens.” Interestingly, teen wolf Jacob Black remains untouched. The movie will include characters Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Lady Gaga.
