In his first public appearance since confessing to unnamed “transgressions,” golfer Tiger Woods renewed his desire to keep his struggles personal.
“What we say to each other will remain between the two of us… I have always tried to be a private person … These issues are between a husband and wife,” he said, ending any hope for a memoir or juicy confession at his brief public appearance. Nevertheless, the golfer admitted in a “I was unfaithful. I had affairs and I cheated.”
Yesterday, GalleyCat interviewed Woods’ biographer, People journalist Steve Helling. He noted: “The biography will certainly explore the scandal, but that is not the primary focus of the book. I hope to put Tiger’s behavior in the larger context of his life. I will be revealing details about his life that have never been released. This scandal is a small part of the narrative of his life.”
