In Washington D.C., Politics & Prose Bookstore has an all-star line-up of political journalists scheduled to speak, including Adam Cohen and Gwen Ifill.

Meanwhile, Borders in D.C. has an inaugural party for kids with “art activities, games, a scavenger hunt, and an official oath ceremony.”

If you can’t make it to Washington, Graywolf Press has planned an instant chapbook celebrating Elizabeth Alexander’s (pictured) inaugural poem. What did we forget to mention? Email GalleyCat if you are holding a literary event in Washington D.C. next week.
