The Help by Kathryn Stockett Wins Fiction Award at the Audies

audioassociation.jpgLast week, the Audio Publishers Association (APA) announced the winners of the 2010 Audies competition.

The fiction award went to The Help, by Kathryn Stockett. The book was read by Jenna Lamia, Bahni Turpin, Octavia Spencer, and Cassandra Campbell from Penguin Audio. Audiobook of the Year went to Nelson Mandela’s Favorite African Folktales, read by a long list of celebrities, from Hachette Audio.

Best Biography/Memoir Audiobook went to Anne Frank Remembered by Miep Gies and Alison Leslie Gold, read by Barbara Rosenblat Oasis Audio/Springwater.
