Also spotted on Page Six: Julia Stiles’ plans to produce and star in an adaptation of The Bell Jar. The paper calls the adaptation Julia’s “pet project,” as if it hasn’t been the pet project of every fair-haired pretentious young actress to pass through Hollywood. (And, even with that being said, I don’t think “pet project” biopics should be called “pet projects” when SAT-style analogies like “actresses:Sylvia Plath::Jennifer Jason Leigh in SWF:Bridget Fonda” are available.)
