Did you know there was such a thing as the Cat Writers’ Association? There is, and Seattle Post-Intelligencer cat blogger Roberta Beach Jacobson is a member. Interesting strategy on the part of the P-I; they’re hosting a slew of pet blogs written by “civilians,” rather than the newspaper staff. One of these days I’m going to have to ask somebody how that’s working out—and then I’m going to think about whether that might make sense for some enterprising book publisher… (Has anybody run with this idea already?
