Novelist Stephen King hosted an Ask Me Anything interview at Reddit.
One reader asked: “Have you thought about writing a sequel to ‘Danse Macabre’ (for the last 30 years of horror fiction)?” King hinted at an update:
I’ve been asked about a sequel to both DANSE MACABRE and ON WRITING, but I think one book on each subject is enough. Updating DM might be a good idea, though.
Should King update Danse Macabre? I read the nonfiction history of horror as a teenager, discovering everything from Arch Oboler‘s Lights Out, Peter Straub‘s Ghost Story, and books by Harlan Ellison.
