Stephen King Talks About Amazon Kindle and The Police

By Jason Boog

This morning, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos joined Stephen King to unveil Amazon’s Kindle 2. The slender digital reader will cost $359 and ship on February 24.

After the conference, GalleyCat caught up with King, getting the bestselling author’s thoughts about Kindle, iTunes, The Police, and the future of reading. This video includes that interview and shots of the Kindle 2.

The new Kindle has 25 percent more battery life than the original, holds 1,500 books, and keeps a reader’s place in-between digital reading devices.
