Penguin’s DK Publishing has organized the “DK Star Wars Attack of the Authors East Coast Tour.” The tour will kick off on May 7th with ten stops planned from Boston to Miami.
Here’s more from the release: “Participants include DK authors, illustrators, 501st Legion and R2 Builders Club members, and a specially-commissioned R2 droid piece (see attached) that will be auctioned off for charity at the end of the tour. In similar DK fashion, each venue has received an event kit containing exclusive raffle prizes, activities and giveaways.”
In an annual tradition, Penguin will donate the money collected at auction to charity on behalf of the Star Wars costume enthusiasts of the 501st Legion. For the Star Wars fans who are celebrating a yearly pun tomorrow, May the 4th Be with You.
