St. Martin’s Press is running a writing contest as part of its promotion for the forthcoming publication of the thriller A Divided Spy by Charles Cumming.
Entrants are asked to submit a 1,000 word piece on trust, a major theme that recurs throughout the book. Here is more info from the website:

The winners of the contest will receive $250 and their book will be published as an e-book and paperback. The publisher is accepting entries through 1/17/16.
