Simon & Schuster announced this morning that it had subcontracted the digitization of its backlist inventory to Innodata Isogen, which describes itself as “a leading provider of content supply chain solutions for many of the leading publishers and information services companies.” (Previous and current clients include Reed Elsevier and McGraw-Hill.)
