Self-Published Author Meredith Wild Inks $7M Book Deal

HackerMeredith Wild has signed a $7 million deal with the Grand Central Publishing imprint, Forever. Wild, a self-published author, has become well-known for the Hacker erotica series.

Here’s more from The Hollywood Reporter: “The initial four books of the series were self-published, beginning with Hardwired in 2013. GCP says the series has sold 1.2 million e-book copies and approximately 200,000 print-on-demand trade paperbacks. The novels follow young businesswoman Erica Hathaway and her relationship with billionaire — and rumored hacker — Blake Landon.”

The Associated Press reports that the team at Forever has plans to re-publish the first four installments of the series. The eBook editions were released on April 7th and the paperback versions will come out on May 12th. Book five, entitled Hard Love, will be published in September 2015.
