Satanist Author Could Change Oklahoma Community’s Library Policy

City officials in Lawton, Okla., are considering changing public library policies over an upcoming reading by a self-published author.

Adam Daniels, a self-professed Satanic priest who made headlines when he hosted a black mass in Oklahoma, will be allowed to go through with a planned reading at the Lawton Public Library. But according to The Colorado Springs Gazette, “the library’s advisory committee has already drawn up a draft of new policies concerning book signings and public readings.” The new policy would recommend adding age restrictions to events based on content.

Daniels’ self-published book, Ahrimani Enlightenment, which bills itself as a “Must have [sic] for any serious occultist,” is a workbook of “Self-transformative rituals.”
