Sarah Kay Celebrates National Poetry Month

Sarah Kay has crafted a moving poem called “Dreaming Boy.” She has become well-known as a spoken word poet and the founder of the Project V.O.I.C.E. organization.

The video embedded above features Kay performing a recitation of this piece at her book release show (in honor of her title The Type) in New York City. She shared this recording on her social media pages to celebrate National Poetry Month.
