RiverRun Bookstore Finds New Space

By Jason Boog

RiverRun Bookstore has found a new space to rent a few blocks away from its original location; the rent will save the New Hampshire bookstore more than $50,000 a year.

Here’s more from the bookstore’s email to customers: “On the finances side of things, more than a dozen people have come foreword and offered to become part-owners of RiverRun, and dozens more have donated books and money to the cause.mI believe we will have the financing deals wrapped up by the end of November! This means new and exciting books will be flooding into the store in the first week of December, maybe sooner!”

In a frank post earlier this year, RiverRun Bookstore owner Tom Holbrook explained that the Portsmouth, New Hampshire store could close by the end of the year if he can’t raise more than $100,000. (Via Shelf Awareness)
