Paramount Pictures has unleashed the first trailer for Same Kind of Different as Me. The video embedded above offers glimpses of stars Renée Zellweger, Djimon Hounsou and Greg Kinnear.
IndieWire reports that this film adaptation is based on the 2006 memoir by Ron Hall, Denver Moore and Lynn Vincent. The subtitle of the book reveals that the story involves “a Modern-Day Slave, an International Art Dealer, and the Unlikely Woman Who Bound Them Together.”
According to Empire Magazine, Michael Carney will be making his debut as a feature film director with this project. The theatrical release date has been set for Feb. 3, 2017. (via Collider)
