‘Harry Potty and the Deathly Boring’ Graphic Novel Parody Released

Just in time for the upcoming Harry Potter adaptation, graphic novel publisher Papercutz has released a parody of J.K. Rowling’s series: Harry Potty and the Deathly Boring by Stefan Petrucha and artist Rick Parker.

The creators worked on the team behind the Diary of a Stinky Dead Kid, book #8 in the Tales from the Crypt series. The new book is part of Slices, a new parody imprint “dedicated to cutting up your favorite pop culture icons.”

The press release contained this synopsis: “Following the killing of their mentor Dumb-as-a-door by the seemingly traitorous barista Frappe, Harry Potty, Don Measley andWhiny Stranger must find a way to defeat the nose-less dark lordValue-Mart (He-Whose-Prices-Can’t-Be-Beat) and his followers. Along with other characters such as Paco Malphy, Robby the Elf,and Seriously Black, Harry with plunger ready must face the Odor Eaters in order to avenge the death of his parents and bring balance to the world of magic at Nosewarts.”
