Bestselling author Nora Roberts has signed a six-book deal with St. Martin’s Press.

Amy Berkower, Chairman of Writers House, brokered the deal. Specifically, the publisher has acquired the North American rights to one stand-alone novel, one trilogy, and two J.D. Robb books. Jennifer Enderlin, senior vice president and publisher, and Sally Richardson, president and publisher of St. Martin’s Press, acquired the titles. The first of these novels will drop in 2017.

“I’m excited by the energy and enthusiasm with which I’ve been welcomed into the St. Martin’s Press family, and I look forward to bringing new stories to my readers,” said Roberts.

The author of more than 217 novels, Roberts published her last several books on Penguin’s Berkley imprint.
