Nice, Nice, Very Nice: Shields Takes Up Vonnegut

By Neal

If you remember Mockingbird, the great biography of Harper Lee that Charles Shields wrote earlier this year, you’ll be glad to hear that the author has plunged into the research for his next project, which, he explains at Maud Newton’s prompting, is chronicling the life of Kurt Vonnegut. If you have any good stories about encounters with Vonnegut, or even just about how reading his novels blew your mind, Shields would like to hear from you.

Please, oh please, let the finished book be called And So It Goes.
