New York Public Library to Host an Exhibit on Alexander Hamilton

NYPL 42nd StThe New York Public Library (NYPL) will host a new exhibit called Alexander Hamilton: Striver, Statesman, Scoundrel at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. Kailen Rogers served as the curator for this program.

Here’s more from the press release: “Alexander Hamilton: Striver, Statesman, Scoundrel features more than two dozen items on display from the Library’s collections, focusing on his ambitious early life, work as a statesman and creation of the Federalist Papers, as well as the scandals that marred his legacy. The exhibition also explores Hamilton’s volatile relationships with Aaron Burr, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison.”

The opening date has been scheduled for June 24. The closing date has been set for Dec. 31.
