New York Public Library to Host a New Shakespeare Exhibit

NYPL 42nd StThe New York Public will host an exhibit called “Be Not Afraid of Greatness: Shakespeare’s Influence on American Writers.” According to the press release, this program will highlight the influence that The Bard has had on some of the world’s most renowned authors.

Some of the items on display include a First Folio, a first edition copy of Herman Melville’s Moby Dick, and a first edition copy of Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn. Visitors will find this exhibit on the third floor of the  Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.

An opening date has been scheduled for April 21 and the closing date will follow on May 14. Follow this link to download a digital copy of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare.
