Actress Morena Baccarin (pictured, via) will star opposite actor Ryan Reynolds in the Deadpool adaptation.
E! Online reports that Baccarin’s character will be “Wade Wilson’s love interest.” She “struggles with having feelings for a man with a scarred face.”
Reynolds first played the anti-hero mercenary in the X Men Origins: Wolverine movie. The theatrical release date for the Deadpool film has been set for February 12, 2016. (via Variety)
