In another bid to rally publishing sales this holiday season, the online literary magazine HTMLGIANT has launched their First Annual Secret Santa Gift Exchange.
In the new contest, readers can sign up online to send a literary gift to a new friend. In return, they will receive a gift from their own Secret Santa. The contest encourages readers to give gift subscriptions to independent literary journals or buy works by independent authors–two categories rocked by the holiday recession.
The contest closes on Friday, December 5th, so sign up today: “We hope that by doing this we can get independent literature into everyone’s faces, but in a way that would expose those faces to new, unheard of things.”
